Gianluca Festucci was born in Rome where his works were exhibited in various galleries. He collaborated with the photographer A. Martinangeli. Today he works and lives both in Barcelona and Rome.
“For me drawing is like breathing, I can’t help it...what I do is transfer all the sensations, the memories, the faces and the objects that time and life gave me the chance to meet, using ink on a support background....Just like that, as they come into my mind, just the way I remember them...with no order or logic ...simply fixed in time. I wish people could take their own time back...I wish they could stop and look, think and use fantasy, imagination...”
