Pamela Luchitta |
Pamela Luchitta was born in Susa/Turin, Italy 09/09/1975.
Since I was a baby I learned about painting in my family, first with my mother who was a painter and later with her aunt, a figurative painter and impressionist. So very soon I came close to impressionism and to the informal art and I took that knowledge with me to studies in Rome, Dublin and London. After that I applied at the Rome La Sapienza University which I finished with great results. After my first trip to Africa soon others followed namely Asia, Central America, The United States of America and obviously Europe.
I fell in love with the Indians magic colours as well as with those colours from Birma, Indonesia and Cambodia: Those are the same colours I use on my canvas. Since 2006 during the winter I am living in Paris and in the summer in a small mediteranean village on the sea called Cervo. My search is a constant walk to the real far lands where the love and the passion for something different make me go on in a world between art and reality.
As Debuffet said: I paint what I feel not what I see. |
