Ciro Paolo Belvedere was born in Saronno (Varese – Italy) in 1970, at 23 years old (1993) he leaves for a short trip to Usa, Los Angeles City, San Diego and then to Mexico, where it has beginning his adventure in the art.
In America he sojourns for about one year, he collaborates for a brief time with some young writers, learning the bases for a kind of art that still rise now between the american post pop artists, starting his artistic training as self-taught.
In 1994 in Mexico he’s captured from the colours in harmony with simple and true shapes that fit in the country.
The overwhelming murales that colouring Mexico City, the soft and rhythmic lines that characterized the landscape and its art, give new stimulus to the artist fomenting the interest in colours and lines in every form.
He lives in Mexico for about one year visiting some of the most important cities.
He often performs realizing works of art on paper and murales, with an art and a technique of great effect, constantly in evolution, that he uses up today.
A research in street art, that will be determining on his artistic maturity.
He went back to Italy in 1995, after a short stay in Paris and Strasbourg, he lives to La Roquebrussanne, in the south of France, up to 1999; here having a big space to work he improves himself in technique and colour. During that years, came out in Belvedere’s works, a new painting, made of colours, vibrations and memories.
He comes back to Milan, Italy, in 2000, and realizes for the monthly magazine “Ace the best imagery” some drawings that will be published in February. During the same year in Saronno, where he still lives, inaugurates, in the historic center, an art gallery named “ La Bancarella”.
He constantly has co-operations with art galleries in north Italy and south of France, organizing and taking part in collective exhibitions. In 2004, collaborating with the town council of Saronno, plans an extemporary exhibition of painting named “Saronno’s painting prize”. Always in Saronno in 2005 with Antonio Marciano and Francesca Tollardo form an association for arts “Località”.
At present his work is between Milano, Saronno and Provence (France), places where he has spaces to work and where he can go into his research in art and grow up professionally. |
