Carlo Stanga lives and works in Milan and Berlin.
In 1985, he started out as an illustrator working with major Italian publishers.
In 1992, after graduating in Architecture at the „Politechnic of Milan“, he decided to improve his art and collaborated with the premier Italian designer Bruno Munari and attended the Art and Design School 'Scuola del Fumetto' as well as the „Domus Academy“ in Milan.
Since 2002 Carlo has been working with various agencies in Europe and exhibited his artworks in Paris, Tai Pei, Milan and Turin.
Recently he won four „Awards of the Italian Illustration“ in 2006 , 2007, 2008 and 2009.
In 2008 he was selected by „The American Illustration Annual 26“ and he won an award from "3x3 Magazine". In 2009 he received two Gold Medal Awards from „CQ Journal - NY“.
Further on the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) asked him to realize a big poster to be displayed in all MTA-stations in New York. |
